At TUGGI Technologies, we believe that access to local culture and history should have no barriers. TUGGI was conceived under the "Audio-First" premise, transforming the discovery experience into something purely sensory and auditory, which naturally benefits users with different accessibility profiles.

1. Technical Compliance (WCAG 2.1)

We are committed to ensuring that our digital platform and mobile app follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, at Level AA.

  • Visual Design: We use adequate color contrasts and readable typography (Inter) to facilitate reading for users with low vision.
  • Navigation: Our interface is structured to be compatible with screen readers (such as VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android).

2. Inclusion Features in TUGGI

Our product is designed to be accessible to both drivers and passengers:

  • Audio-First Experience: We eliminate the need for visual or tactile interaction with the screen during the trip. Stories are automatically triggered via geolocation, allowing visually impaired people and those with reduced mobility to enjoy the content autonomously.
  • Closed Captions: For passengers with hearing impairments, TUGGI offers real-time synchronized transcription. While the audio plays, the narrative text is displayed on the screen, ensuring that no one misses the cultural context of the route.
  • Linguistic Accessibility: We offer multilingual support in over 8 languages, ensuring that the language barrier is not an impediment to knowledge.

4. Cultural Inclusion and Social Impact

Beyond technical accessibility, TUGGI acts as an agent of social inclusion. We democratize access to culture by decentralizing tourism. By redirecting flow from saturated areas to peripheral zones, we foster the local creative economy, giving a voice to the native historians, actors, and guides who build our narratives.
